Slide Rock State Park

Slide Rock State Park is so much fun. Because of the nature of the limestone rock, the water has made the river bottom slick. At different points of the river there are some really high cliffs that we jumped off. Scott gave the highest point a try this year at 45 feet! He couldn't do it last year because he was in preparation for eye surgery.
I was proud of him for doing it this time.
That free fall is crazy!

Miss Morgan even gave an attempt at cliff jumping this year... 9 feet! GOOD JOB MORGAN!!!
She was terrified, but she really wanted to conquer her fear of heights.
Jensen was content to watch the action from afar.

Jensen and Ashton had fun trying to catch the tiny fish that were swimming around... they were surprised that they weren't successful.

Caiden had fun just getting his feet wet and sliding with mom and dad.
This is a self portrait of him.

Brendon and Ashton jumped from 35 feet high!!!
Brendon gets his love of heights from me. WAHOOO!!!

Ashton is a bit different, he will jump off from a high place, but doesn't do well at climbing to a high place... So very interesting.
The best part for me was that we were able to keep this part of the trip a total surprise. They were so excited once we dropped down into the canyon and they realized what we were going to do for the day.

I am definitely adding this spot to our "want to visit" list.
